I went to this store three days in a row to get the boneless ribeye roast advertised three days in a row at about 10:00 to 11.00 AM. All three times they were out, but they had ribeye steaks, which are cut from...ribeye roast.
I was a butcher for fifteen years and know bad orders happen, but this is clearly intentional to boost the gross profit percent through deception and down right corrupt. I have also gone there five times for advertised bacon. out each time. I drove over ten miles each time.
Very expensive for switch and bait.
The mgr called me after I presented this complaint to the store and was very apologetic and promised they would have the roasts all of the next two days. Went back just after 3:00 the next day and they only had the vacuum bagged ribeyes for one dollar more. This guy never runs out of tricks to keep his profit above ad prices. This has much less labor involved because they only have to weigh and put out.
The clerk acted like I was stupid for wanting an item after the butcher left at two. There were no stockers yet they had canned goods, bread, produce, drinks, etc. We ALWAYS had backup meat on racks in the back to keep the counter full. I worked several stores for three companies and we would have been fired for intentionally not having products this consistently.
I was offered the sale price but it would have been 70 dollars for the whole ribeye!
This has ruined my Christmas plans.
Do not call me. Nothing will happen and it would be pointless.

Sav a lot. Great prices, limited choices
I like to go to sav a lot if I only need a few items. The problem I have is there’s no express check out line (10 items or less) so you can’t get in and out quickly and it seems like everybody has an over flowing cart in line.
Their prices for milk and eggs are the lowest around and I don’t mind paying for bags as it is better for the environment.

More than a half dozen times this year when I would buy a sale item at Save a Lot, it would ring up at the full non-sale price. And I would have to take my receipt back to the cashier and be refunded in cash for the sale items that I was charged full price for.
The Save a Lot store manager told me that this problem is caused by Save a Lots corporate management, in that they dont enter the sale item prices in the computer pricing network for all the stores. Is this true? And if it is, do you realize that you are ripping off many of your customers who buy your sale items, then never think to check their receipt to see if they actually got the sale price. As I said this has happened to me more than a half dozen times this year alone at your store.
And when I shopped at your store this past Friday Nov. 17th, I was charged full price for 2 different sale items and had to have the difference between the full & sale price refunded to me.Go to Wal,G

I called Save A Lot store on S. Queen st., Lancaster, PA 17602, on Friday, October 20, 8 or 9 diff times.
And I keep count.!! The phone rang MANY times each time. At least 8 times or more! This is unprofessional, horrible and uncalled for.
Finally, a person picked up. They HEARD me speak NICELY on the phone and then hung up..!!! Each time I called I held my composure and spoke NICELY. Even though I was upset.
ALL 8 or 9 times that I called I remained CALM and spoke with proper etiquette.! This is the TRUTH.
EVERY time we grocery shop at this store, there is hardly ever any staff to help us out. It is very frustrating. And it is such a TURN OFF.
My mother and I have been going to this store for over 30 + plus years!
We do like it. Good prices. Descent various food items. Over the years the food selection has gotten more diverse.
And the upgrade and layout has gotten better. All this is a PLUS. But the management is SOOOO BAD. All staff seems to have a BAD and MISERABLE ATTITUDE.
I always say, if folks dont like their job, then move on and find a job that they like. Dont give customers grief and attitude. I understand that many customers are rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unfriendly. But so can staff and management be the SAME WAY.
There needs to be more qualified staff at this store. And with a better and more knowledgeable attitude.
Plus they need to stop acting like they dont want to be bothered and/or they hide away from customers. Ive seen it a lot over the years.
